Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need recommendations for liability insurance for home FFL

Looking for basic slip and fall coverage, as there are no sales or gunsmithing services, just transfers out of my garage.  The company carrying my homeowners policy quoted me $800 for 1 mil coverage.

Check into an umbrella policy.  Your homeowners already covers slip and falls, not sure why you need anything more

Homeowners policy will generally exclude commercial transsactions


This ^.  Your home owners insurance will not cover anything business related.  Especially if you failed to disclose to them you are running a business from your home.

Yep, especially a business where you’re “selling evil guns to dirty gun buyers” (that’s what it will look like to an insurance claim adjuster or plaintiffs attorney)
