Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need A Recoil Pad For An 870

I just bought a 12 gauge 870 Express that was made in 1989 and it has the factory wood stock. The factory recoil pad ( or butt plate ) is a rock hard solid rubber piece about 1” thick . Does anybody make a nice soft recoil pad that needs no fitting ?

Buy a factory Remington SuperCell pad. They are the best I’ve ever used.
