I too worked up a design to run the Sordins with OpsCore arms. I recently picked up a set of Comtac V's so I'll be working up an adapter for the Comtacs as well.

They’ve been teasing something on their IG that sure does look like it would be a dual hotbutton, but I honestly don’t know

"Upgraded" to a salty L4 G24 I picked up on EE. I know everyone thinks the G24 is the pinnacle of mounts but I find there is a bit more adjustability with a RHNO II w/ dovetail adapter.

Also, re: rail adapters for comms, I'm finding that I like running my Comtacs under the helmet. The band is low profile and doesn't interfere with the helmet padding, the ear cups seem to stay in place better and I can remove the ear pro and take it with me for indoor range trips where I don't want to look like I am trying to tier 1 too hard.

Shame. Us SWPA'ers get together pretty often in the fall/winter. Here's where I try and keep track of details for night shoots happening.

Don't wanna go too far off-topic, but you should come out to the range this Thursday night. Doing a little powerpoint and demo with plenty of stuff for you to try out.

I got one of my Ops Core helmets from Tactical Assault Gear and they sell the Ops Core bump helmet (they use the wrong picture for it though because the picture is of the carbon high cut not the bump high cut), you would probably want to call or email them to make sure its in stock before ordering though because I have ordered some stuff from them that said it was in stock but it wasn't

Pretty dark in my mom's basement, On more serious note, i was born and raised in Tbilisi (capital of Georgia) and during late 80's when CCCP dissolved suddenly Shit Hit The Fan and poof, once bright beautiful city became totally dark, armed militia rolling Tbilisi streets robbing, killing, raping. that lasted for years so that experience always will with me for rest of my life that it can happen without any warning and the setup that i have would be very handy.

These are my low speed high drag helmets, I'm setting up the one on the right for NV use.  Does anyone have any ideas how to setup a NV lanyard for a DTNVG setup? I don't have an issued helmet cover so I have to think outside the box a little.

I was thinking of getting a helmet bridge and maybe a CAC/ID card style lanyard?

you could always use something like the T-Rex Arms SBL NVG Lanyard, it uses Velcro to attach to the helmet

Damn. I’ve talked to a few people who went through it too. A lot of guys who think they are prepared would have their eyes opened and hopefully be educated if you decided to write some detailed posts about what it was like.

Lot if guys just don’t have a clue. Out of the dozens of things I’ve started doing to prepare one of the easiest is to buy cases of the small bottles of alcohol. Not big bottles. They make for great trading. Or at least that’s what I was told and makes sense. I wish cigarettes didn’t go bad lol. If stock up on them too

@Lexo the stars on the flag always advance forward.  Think of the flag being flow by someone advancing on horseback.  If you were on that person's right side the stars would be on top right.
