I thought I posted these here, but I didn't I guess.  Both of these are original finished guns added to the collection, and run great!

1942 Erma MP40 and 1955 Ithaca M3A1.

Any specific parts you all think I should snag?  I've gotten 2 NOS MP40 recoil springs, the correct sling for each gun, and I have 6 MP40 mags and 5 M3 mags.  I'm thinking spare bolt assemblies, drive springs for the M3A1, and more mags?  Anything else you can think of?

Thanks for looking!

For the mp40 FPs, main springs and ejectors and a new bolt body. Have had all these break but that’s only after a shit ton of rounds.
For the grease gun we really haven’t had much break on it but I’d get some new recoil springs, rods, and the little clip that hold em together. Also be on the lookout for the two halves separating. That shows on the rear of the receiver.
For both mags mags mags, the price of these will only go up

How about a full parts kit for the M3A1?  A friend has a kit to sell that is an Ithica.

Yea, they suck like Sten mags.  I did buy a loader as well, so I don't just have to use the stock.

For the M3 I got an extra sear also. (but I dont really know how prone they are to wear)

Thanks!  Yea man.  Busy with life and I mostly live back in Kauai now.  Spending more time surfing than shooting.  I'll make videos periodically though.

A dealer friend of mine happened into some nice Mp40 parts kits. I know he's looking to sell either the whole kits or part them out. If you're interested send me a pm and I'll get his info to you.

My suggestions...

MP40: Purchase a few firing pins and extractors. If you want to save the original bolt, firing pin and recoil assy from wearing out, purchase a FBP parts kit. Just replace the recoil spring with new Wolff spring and cut it to fit.

M3A1: Purchase an extra sear trip as the surface will slow wear out over thousands of rounds. Also, I would buy a few spare NEW recoil springs to save the wear and tear on the receiver.

Thanks for posting that, might grab for my matching # MP40.

What do you mean about the spring though? Would the kit not drop in as is?

You've got a Reising in the picture. That mag isn't going to work worth a darn.
