 I really had nothing on my Christmas list so I threw this out.... Green mountain ruger heavy tapered. My 1981 10/22 from 4th grade. Gonna get an upgrade. |

Did you get the barrel already I thought i read in another thread GM was not working due to covid for a while?

Great minds think alike. I have a bone stock 10/22 that I have been wanting to turn into an ultra accurate plinker/potential hunting gun for years.
2021 appears to be an ammo desert so .22 will be shot a lot more I think - good excuse to build it. I wanted a green mountain but their website showed sold out/gone on everything so I ended up ordering a Shaw 18" bull barrel from Brownells. |

No sights so it looks like it needs a scope again. I haven't had it out in so long that I can't remember if it has a scope mount on it. I ordered a picatinny mount and I can't remember if i put it on. I hope I did because it will be he'll finding it.

Good choice and sounds like you’re getting it. Yeah 10/22’s and the upgrade possibilities are endless but that’s what makes it so popular.
