Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - My first one

Went to a trade/thrift show this last weekend.   Saw a bunch of late 1800’s stuff.  Became enamored with the black powder revolvers.   Said screw it and went out a and got one tonight.   I bought a Traditions redi kit.   An 1858 Remington.   Super excited to get out and try it.  I may accidentally wear it out tonight clicking the hammer back.  :-).   This could be fun....

You will want your loadings on the light side with the brass frame

They are fun!  Take it out a few times to get used to it.
