Here are some pictures of my SG 551-2 SP correctly housed in a Safety Case.  The rifle is one of ~50 551s imported into the US prior to the Assault Rifle Import Ban.  Thanks to a Swiss member from Swiss Rifles, I now have the correct bolt box for use with my Safety Case.  To place a PE90/550/551 in a Safety Case, one must remove the rifle's bolt carrier and bolt handle.  Also, you cannot have a magazine inserted in the rifle or a scope mounted on the rifle.

How difficult was it to get the case brought over?

I got the case itself from a Canadian seller many, many, years ago.  The bolt box was sent via Swiss Post.  It took exactly one week to get to Texas.
