Wow, seems cheaper to buy a different shotgun with 18" BBL. I know they are rare and I would love to get one but not for that price....

Damn, it was at $120 when I posted it. I got mine a few months ago for $150 on eBay.

Back in 2008, I converted my 835 to an HD shotgun after seeing another member's camo 835 set up that looked pretty awesome . So I picked up an 18.5" barrel off of GunBroker for $80.00, added a new fore end and a mag extension:

I had that for several years, but ended up trading it off for an S&W Model 64 that I had to have:

I kept the 18.5" barrel and the mag extension with the hopes of finding another 835 someday and doing another conversion. A few years back I scored another 835 for $200.00. This one had a slug barrel for deer hunting and wood furniture:

I liked the look of the wood, so I kept that on there and threw on my 18.5" barrel and mag extension:

It was made by a member on another forum. He had quite a business going for a short while, but something happened and he ended up not delivering on later orders, so he dropped off the radar….

Yours was the inspiration for this guy. Probably a S&J hardware extension and follower kit in the future.

I put Magpul furniture on mine after I got the shorter barrel. The 00 buck has attitude.

Yes. My shorten wood stock’s pad is no longer squishy. 2 3/4 buck kicks me a bunch, but I did see this for sale and was awe-fully tempted.
