are they worth it? We have a half basement and I worry about tornadoes.
There is litteraly no tornado shelter dealers close to me. We get them every year though.
I thought about in my half basement (cinder block walls and cement floor) putting in a smaller modular one.
Or maybe making one.

anyone do that?

I was looking at vault pros modular shelters, and use it as a gun vault, but its only modular if they make it that way, and its a 4k upcharge for it. I decided to go with block and a vault door from sturdy safe for my needs... Good luck, I replied because I am curious as well, and stay safe...
