Whether full auto or neutered semi auto, who doesn't enjoy belt fed info and pictures?
I believe most would find the topic interesting even if they don't own one. And let's admit it, everyone loves good belt fed porn pics.
Could be a great source of info for those looking to get one, or a place to find fixes/tricks/obscure parts for those that do own one.
This is my Marcolmar UKM Vz. 59 Semi-Auto Belt-Fed built from the Czech Uk.59. It is 7.62x54R caliber fed from non disintegrating metal belts.
When purchased 2 years ago it was relatively inexpensive for what it is and how well it is made. Ammo, belts and ammo cans were also cheap.
If this is popular, I will take the trouble to post more pictures.
There are great videos on it also.

Thank you yes it is impressive and very fun.
But it's a BUY, noy a BUILD.
The full auto removal and redesign into semi auto only to comply with all ATF laws and regulations was all done by Marcolmar, owned by Dave and Mary Bane.
They also manufacture awesome and improved clones of CETME rifles.

Beautiful uk 59 man. I bought one and sold it. I miss it everyday.

I would also support a belt fed section.
Discuss rpds, HK 21/23, saw, 1919, M2, lakeside razorbacks, etc.

The M249, M240, and M60 semis were a bit too expensive.
The UKM and 1919 were in the price range I was willing to spend and it came down to the shorter length, lighter weight, quick change barrel of the UKM. So it won.
I also didn’t think trying to find, pick up, and put back together disintegrating links after shooting a couple hundred rounds sounded like fun. Those UKM belts are so easy to load and will last 3 lifetimes.
I can get the gun, two barrels, bipod, loaded 50 round assault can, loaded 100 round belt, extra feed tray, recoil springs, other spare parts, cleaning kit, and tool kit all in a 35 inch hard case.

I'd enjoy a beltfed specific forum.

UKM with 50 round assault can attached and with 250 round belt from can.
The belts are in 50 round sections and can be hooked together and provide infinite loaded belt length.

I like the idea of a belt fed forum. I also have a Uk59 but its in the original style, with tripod and original scope sight. I’ve long been intrigued with the semi auto conversions of the various belt feds. I know some consider them wastes of money because they aren’t full auto. I appreciate the history and engineering they represent. My last one was a Turkish Vickers and have a ZB37 that’s finally finished after about 3 years to get it built.

FN had more M249S models at the last Shot show.

They are also had a new recall of them made before Jan 31 (of this year?).

More models?  To my knowledge, they have the standard model in black and FDE and the Para model in black and FDE - are you saying there are more than that?

Thank you!
I hope more people would reply in the thread so that it has a chance of becoming popular and the mods do make a Belt Fed section.
Being in the 'General Firearm Discussion' section probably does not give it a lot of exposure though.
