Might be letting go of some things and not really sure on the Mauser market.

It’s marked BZN 41 with the barrel, receiver and trigger guard matching. The stock and barrel band are not.

I would say overall it’s in good shooter condition.

What’s the market value on something like this?

I haven't checked values recently.  I have a 100% matching K98, all the way down to the firing pin.

I sold a similar one (russkie captured) with a absolutely trashed bore recently.  600 bucks, I felt a little guilty, but it had the eagle stamps intact, and I threw in a couple hundred rounds.

How's the bore?  Post a pic of it.

Bore is dark but strong rifling. Haven’t really tried to scrub it

Import marked ?

Honestly any decent k98 ( even Russian) is going to get you in the $700 to $800 range pretty quick.

Would need pics to give more info

No import marks that I remember. It’s currently buried in the back of the safe.

I sold a similar CE 43 on GB for about 750 a little bit back. Receiver, Barrel, Rear Sight, TG and Floorplate matched. Banlt matched each other, bolt matched itself with an Israeli sling. Nice rifle over all. A DUV 42 RC I sold on there a few months before that last one and went for 1K. Prices are weird.

The best money for selling would be to put it on GB and let it ride.

Take clear pix of everything, each numbered part

People are paying stupid money for K98ks  now

A partial matching (with bolt matching itself) NOT Russian or Yugo reworked captured mismatch/scrubbed etc could get you $1,000.00
