I am so close to buying one.  357/38

I want a case color hardened, crescent butt, possibly trapper.

Does Winchester do a special run for every Shot Show?  I figured we are close enough that I will wait to see.

Also, what exactly is involved in getting an 1873 threaded for suppressor use and who does that kind of work?  I figure I’ll have to spring for a 20” instead of a 16” trapper to go that route.

ETA that was an expensive itch to scratch

Here's a quick family photo since called @Avila33 made this thread and then called me out in this other thread.

1873 Deluxe Sporting .44-40
1892 16" .45 Colt
Browning 71
1895 SRC .30-06
1895 SRC .30-40
1895 SRC .30-40

I regularly shoot most of them regularly except the bottom .30-40, I'm not happy with any of their sights though the 1895's aren't bad. I have reproduction Lyman receiver sights for two of the 1895's and I'm trying to figure out how to make a K98 style front sight for them. The 1873 has a sort of reproduction rocky mountain front sight I've swapped onto it and will be getting a tang sight in the near future. The 92 I'm still deciding on what to do with as far as sights. The 71 I want to get milled out for a repro 98A type sight but that's near the bottom of a long list of projects.

Some old pictures:

Ok here are my two 1892 Deluxe Trapper Takedowns. The color case hardened rifle is the 2018 Shot Show Special .44 mag and the blued rifle is the 2010 Shot Show Special .357 mag.

Thanks! I really wanted a full octagon but after getting this one I realized the balance is perfect with the half and half barrel. Some nice 92's you've got, I always get excited when SHOT is coming up to see what Miroku is going to come out with.

Looks great! Hopefully Winchester/Miroku has some new lever guns they introduce at SHOT. This is the 125 year anniversary of the Model 94 after all...

You guys are always costing me money. Picked up the last 92 deluxe takedown I could find. It's the 45 colt model. I'll get some pics up later.
