Is there any significant difference between the two handguards that would make one a better choice?

Ive watched a couple videos on installation and they seem to install a bit differently, which is the only real difference between the two that Ive been able to tell so far (outside of the obvious cosmetic differences).

So far it seems like people tend to go with the HBI, I dont see much of the MI being used.  Are the HBI better?

EDIT: Nevermind.  Just bought a MI handguard.
