I think it's a 1909 Argentine carbine, but I'm not sure.

Do you think you could make the pictures any blurrier? And continue to not include pics of the receiver ring & the bolt tail. That would really help.

Its not Argentine and not a carbine
Appears to be a cut down DWM 1895 pattern long rifle.....or possibly a cut down 1893 OVS contract gun.... A lot of these no-crest DWM guns ended up in the hands of the Boers..... Is the bolt face completely round, or does it have a flat bottom? What is the caliber? Is there a prefix to the serial number? any acceptance marks/proofs anywhere? |

Any dates on the receiver? From the angles you're posting of the bolt, it would seem to be pre-98.

 I haven't found any dates and the rollmark is quite different from my Chilean 1895's. |
