I'm looking at a Boyd's stock for a Marlin 25n I got when I was a kid. According to the serial it was built in 1991. It has a detachable magazine. Does anyone know if this will work?

Are there any other aftermarket stocks out there for this gun?

You said it was a 25, right?  Mag fed, 22lr, bolt action?  If so, wouldn't it be this one?

It should it’s the same action and magazines.  My 25n is from 1996. It was my first rifle and it still an excellent shooter.

I contacted Boyd's and they said to use the model I listed in the OP. Apparently there are a few different flavors of Marlin 25s.

IIRC, the 25n fired .22lr; the 25Mn was .22 magnum.
