Is L. W. Schneider the manufacturer of Colt (and others) M16 lower parts?
I believe they have the stamped S forge mark.

j3_ : what manufacturer with three (or four) dots in a Round depressed circle die mark be? I found this on a replacement hammer.

Not sure who does them but like most parts the casting company may or may not be the one that completes the part. Here is and example https://www.signicast.com/assembling-a-quality-partnership

another https://www.milwaukeeprec.com/military-firearms.html I think theirs had an M in a small recess at one time.

No telling how many places have at one time cast them.

Have seen an ar trigger posted on a mim manufacturers site once also.
