Its starting to look the Swedish Kg m/37 and its sled mount might be useful on the Gulf coast after all.  Snow forcasted for Monday.

That's pretty cool. I'd not want to have to drag my old MG-08 (sadly, long gone) around on it's sled, that must have sucked big time on the Western Front. Got to find my old analog pic and scan it sometime, it was a pretty gun (someone re-blued it somewhere along the line) and the sled was solid. Ran great, but cloth belts were hard to come by in the pre-Internet days (probably still are).
