Anyone know what Sig is offering Gen 1 owners for upgrades?

I think I remember talk about complete gen 2 uppers for the cost of a barrel or something like that?

My gen 1 has been fine and I have a boat load of 30 & 20 rd mags for it, I loaded up on those 20 rounders when they got down to like 7 bucks iirc so I haven't had much reason to upgrade.

Anyone have any advise on how to approach Sig customer service before I call?

If your Gen 1 is running fine, why monkey with it? What does the Gen 2 upper gain you for the cost?

Getting old and don't want to be dealing with a switch in another 2 or 3 years with Sig not offering a discounted upgrade.

That's why I'm posting to see if anyone knows if they are still offering an upgrade at a discount before I call.

I have a Gen 1 SBR and a Gen 2 MPX K pistol. If I could get an additional upper for a discount I’d pick one up.

Please post what you find out. I’d be interested in hearing.

Do believe that was an offer for an upper in a different caliber, as the gen 1 wasn't going to work with caliber conversions. More than likely removed it as they seem to have given up on other calibers.

I am a Gen 1 owner and a new Gen 2 copperhead owner. I thought the offer for was for a gen 2 upper same caliber. I never called to check.

I certainly would like like a new upper for the price of a barrel.

Please post what you find out.
