Seems like the A2 forum is the proper place for M9 bayonet discussions. 
I am planning an M9 project that will produce a full tang M9 made from 01 tool steel. 
There are lots of trash M9 parts around. After the expense and grief of making this beast, I really want to finish it off with real US military parts. 
For the Bayonet I need everything (pomel assy., hand guard, handle tube, pomel screw). I do not need the blade or the tang. 
For the scabbard I need everything. At 1st glance one would not notice this as anything than a run of the mill M9. But upon further inspection it will actually be a beast of a bayonet with real knife capabilities. 
So if anyone knows where I can acquire these parts I would be grateful!
