Can someone recommend the best sight configuration for a standalone M203?

The quadrant sight does not look like it would work with the FD203, given the rail mount is 90 degrees off, and while the front leaf sight does look like it would work, I'm not sure which rear sight is supposed to be paired with it.

What are you guys using on this setup?

I have the LMT stand-alone, but use the ladder rear with a magpul mbus front.

to be honest the mbus is just what I had laying around, and fold flatter.

Any generic AR front sight works in conjunction with the leaf sight.

As for quadrant sights, you'll either need a carry handle to mount it to, or a rail mount quadrant sight which are harder to find.

There are a few red dot options out there. non of them are cheap.

My FD203 has an Aimpoint T2 for direct impact projectiles (although it's sitting too low to be usable and needs a riser added).

If I were to get a quadrant sight for a standalone, I'd get the KAC 2-hole version which mounts to the M203's receiver:

That way, if you move the launcher over to an AR, you'll keep your zero.

You could probably use both on the FD203 simultaneously if desired.
