A friend of mine stumbled onto a SWD M11/Nine pistol without a magazine.  I looked at Numrich's web site and they have two different types of mags.  One is a M11 9mm mag and the other is a M11/Nine 9mm mag.  Are these interchangeable or must I get him the M11/Nine one.  The M11/Nine mags are polymer and the M11 9mm mag is steel.  For obvious reasons I'd rather get him a steel mag vs. the polymer.

The shockwave Zmags are the best mags out there for the m11/9

This right here. Between the zmags and Lage, the M11 became a good buy.

You basically have 4 mag choices for the stock magwell....

Factory Zytel mags.....the feed lips wear and off to the trash they go

Converted PAM-1 and Madsen mags. The Madsen mags are loose in the magwell, but seem to work. The converted PAM-1 mags look like a Sten mag, and are tough to load. They work well, but lack a tab to prevent over-insertion...their width also prevents you from running a collapsible stock (in the collapsed position)

Z-Mags (like everyone above has posted), are the 100% hands-down best choice....

It is my understanding that the M11/9 Zytel mags are the same as the M11A1 (.380) ones, right?

I ask because I have a bunch of those mags though I sold off the M11/9 yet still have the M11A1.

As I have the Lage upper that uses drums, I've not used any Zytel mags and if they don't work in my .380, I might as well get rid of them.

I just wish Marty would do one run of 13-15-round Zmags.
