Bought several new steel 30 rd Shockwave ZMags, which appear to be the go to mag for Mac owners.

However, I couldn't get the new mags to go more than an inch or two into the mag well. The mag well doesn't appear to be bent or damaged.

The Cobray Zytel 30 Round mag it came with fits, but is tight, has to be pulled free when empty, and is worn down on the sides.

Is this a common problem?

How do I resolve this?

Should I:
Sand the mag well?
Sand the magazines?
Bend the magwell?

One of my 13-round Zytels has this issue. Annoying. Sanding it did help, so much so that it is now functional. Still doesn't drop free but it works, although it''s been relegated to the parts bin.

I'd pay just about anything for someone (hint-hint Marty) to make 13 or 15-round Shockwaves.

Use a piece of wood cut slightly larger than the dimensions of a mag. Problem solved.
