Can someone tell me what wear would this be?  Also, do I need to get the throat gauged as well?

..00, means like new at the crown. For a Garand that's excellent. If you have a good throat reading your gtg

Thank you, how to a read the throat without a gauge?  Would it be safe to say that the throat would mostly likely be G2g with such a good barrel reading?

Reads about zero. However if there is a nick or damage on the crown you could get false low readings.

USGI new barrels I have usually read 1 to sometimes almost 2. New commercial barrels tend to be tight, at zero.

Throat gauge does not mean much unless you are marketing it to sell it. Shooting it will tell you if the throat and rest of the barrel is still good.

People tend to credit barrel guage numbers more than they should. Good guage numbers tell you the barrel is not bad or really dirty. It does not tell you if the barrel is good. Visual inspection and shooting is the only way to determine barrel condition.
