Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - M-16s Star in new Thor/Marvel Comics movie

A pair of M-16A1s have a starring role in the new Marvel Comics Thor movie.  On Asgard 20 round mags hold a lot more ammo apparently and the guns fire with the dust covers closed...but despite this it was enjoyable to see 20 inch guns with triangle hand guards get the spotlight.  Retro fans tired of the HK 416 and Mk 18 lifestyle are gonna love it.

Those would be the Asgard in contract M-16 A1 made of unobtanium in the 60s. Rumor has it Reed Knight offered big money for the pair, but was turned down by Thor.
