What are the best lithium batteries?

CR123 or what kind? I believe for CR123 there is really only a few manufactures and the rest is just them getting relabeled to say Surefire etc

Those and Sure Fire, Stream Light, or Energizer.

I believe at one time two of these were all made by Panasonic.

I buy lithium Energizers by the 100 on Battery Junction dot com.  Use them in my flashlight and thermals, never had a problem in either.

I also use Energizer Lithium AA's in all my gear. From my mini-mag lights, radio's, NVD's and anything else that needs premium power and LONG term storage. I have yet had a leak from any of these batteries and they always perform flawlessly. They are a AA version of the CR123's that I also use in a lot of devices. Not cheap, but sure beats the cost of a damaged device from a battery leak.
