My Lyman hand primer won't fully seat anymore. It's let me down for the last time, I think. You guys ever used one of these?

I haven't use the Lee bench priming tool. It does seem to have extremely favorable reviews. These days I favor on-press priming with RCBS presses but I also use the Forster Co-Ax regularly.

About your Lyman issue - have you contacted them?

Haven't used that, but I have used their hand priming tool and it works fine.  Same principle, but tied to the bench.  I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I just prime on the down stroke of my press anymore.  It saves a step.

Bought mine several years ago due to arthritis in my hand. Great primer, easy on the hands.
Now I just started using the Lee Classic Turret press so I'll probably prime in process on that.

I have one I use when not running through the Dillons.  It's ok,.but don't forget it uses their special shell holders.

I'm on my second one in about 8 yrs, 1st one the main body cracked(pot mettle), guessing I primed 8-9k on the original.

I love them, very simple and they give good feedback on primer seating; e.g. seats too easy, I know the pocket is past it's life. Usually I can just take a pick and push back out, never had one go bang.

As mentioned they require proprietary shell holders which can be bought individually or a complete set.

When I ordered #2 to replace #1, Titan had a sale, I ordered future #3. I like them that much.

Had mine for about 4 months now. Had an issue with the small primer adapter straight out of the box. It was assembled with one half the small primer and one half the large primer. Emailed Lee with a picture and they sent me a new small adapter next day no charge. No other problems since.
