So....I'm planning on ordering one next week (internal recoil system version) and I just wanted some input from current or previous owners?  Anyone move to the Adams piston system?  I'm thinking about a heavy barrel (fluted) 16" to get some decent velocity and for some sustained fire on occasion and will be utilizing my AAC 762 SDN 6 suppressor on her.

Draws the curious, that’s for sure.

Love it.  Ran like a sewing machine right out of the box.  I changed the barrel because I didn't really love the 10.5", love the way it looks with a beta mag and longer barrel.  I went with a 14.5 inch so I didnt have to switch out the carbine gas tube and handguards.  In a perfect world I would love it with a 16" barrel, mid length gas system and longer handguards.  With the setup I am using now I have the gas block adjusted only 2 clicks from the lowest setting, but it is running super smooth and nice rate of fire.

It’s long and front heavy.  So standing on the firing line with it gets to be a bit of a workout.  Runs well though... like the Max-31.  It just sort of hums along.

I run one from a bipod or a tripod when using a beta mag. Mine had random feed issues when I first got it. After a feed ramp massage and polish it now feeds and runs like a top.

It does like to randomly tear brass in half though once in a rare while. Most of the time I don't notice and only see it after collecting brass. Twice though it left half in the chamber and I had to extract with a 30 cal chamber brush. I'm a reloader so I'm going to blame that on brass that's already been around the block once. The gas is turned down one click above where it doesn't quite run 100%. Out of the box it was open a bit too far and ran really fast.

I turns heads at the range for sure and most people don't know what it is. I run a Kaw Valley linear comp so it throws the noise and flames down range. Be prepared to be popular.

Love mine. I kept mine at the 10.5 barrel length but added a thunderbeast dominus. Great additions to the Mac 11. I'm an 07/02 so making a M16 isn't a big deal. I have zero desire to do so since I've got the 11/15.

Something stupid keeps coming along such as the FRT setup and then I don't want to commit to it.

I have the 9mm Lage upper and I have an RR ar15 already but damn......it just makes me NOT.......they work...they are awesome but something stops me.....

if I didn't have a sear and the rr... I would be on it like flies on a meat.

It’s solid and a must-have if you own a M11/9.
