I have a rear right that looks exactly like this. For the life of cannot figure out how to slide the sight up the ramp for longer distances.

The knob sticking out the left side contains a detent and spring that often get frozen up with dried oil and gunk. Use your favorite spray lube in a can and squirt some in there and work with it to get to moving.

Thanks. Just after I finished posting, I had a thought and figured it out.
 I was expecting a release button, which it does not have.

Metric and IndIan sights have a release button. Regular commonwealth just have a spring detent.
