I've seen lots of information on converting a solvent trap kit into a suppressor using the Form 1 route. I recently learned about Kaw Valley Precision's Mach modular linear compensator and thought it might make a good candidate for a Form 1 suppressor build if one were to simply add baffles. Inside diameter is 1-1/8" which if I'm not mistaken, matches a "B cell" tube. Has anyone done this? If so, which cups did you use, and how many? If not, would this linear comp body be a suitable starting point for building an inexpensive can?

We've discussed this before. It's "a tube" to hold baffles, that's about it. Can it work, sure. I'd prefer to not have a ton of threaded sections, personally.
Also, it's 100% 6061. So, I don't suspect you're going to use it much more than 22lr-32acp. Yes, most sub applications could work, but, let's be realistic, that thing is tiny. Just go w/ an XRT kit.

I don't know what this means as the thread OD and tube ID can NOT be the same measurement.
Also, saying something is 1-1/8" doesn't mean much in the world of precisely fitting parts together.
I've seen B cell cups and tubes from 1.114-1.14.
1-1/8 doesn't instill confidence that anything would fit correctly.
