The PST II is almost 11" so it does not leave a lot of room out front for the UNS.

My past experience with NV on this particular firearm was with a T-1 in front of a 14 with the PVS14 3x magnifier attached and it was terrible as the dot was not clean. My next attempt was with an Eotech EXPS 3-0 in front of a 14 again with the PVS 14 3x magnifier. While the sight picture was vastly improved given the larger window of the Eotech and the reticle was slightly better,  it was not perfect. I have read here that the T-2 lenses coating helps to eliminate the dot issue but as I recall Vic said the PVS14 3x magnifier also contributed to the dot issues.  

I like magnification when aiming so I am thinking perhaps one of the newer RD 5x magnifiers might be better than a 3x in conjunction with a T2. The concern is the loss of clarity given all that glass.

Anyone have any actual experience running a T2 or other with a RD magnifier with an UNS SR?
