Finally got the mod 2's up and running. Love em both but slightly prefer the CQB.

My final set up

Mod 2
B5 Coyote SOPMOD stock and grip
Aipmoint M4S
Geissele M4S mount
KAC BUIS
Weight:  7 LBS-10 OZ

Typing to keep it as light as possible

Shoots great, not as accurate as my LMTs but I am very happy with the rifle.

Mod 2 SR15s are good guns. Mod 1 with URX 3.1 is just better in my opinion after having owned both. No need to change your mind.

What color rail panels are those? Is that a TAN LMT stock?

I am looking for the best color rail panels to match a Tan LMT.

It's the Taupe Deluxe Rail Panel Kit, well that was the one I got, and I picked it up from Weapon's Outfitters, but they are out of stock, I would try Operation Parts to snag some if you really want them. It matches the B5 Coyote Brown Stock very well, not sure about the LMT Stock, but it looks to be that and or a B5 Government Overrun in Coyote Brown, but it's got the QD Swivel mount so its got me confuckered up too.

Edit: His might be the FDE Panels for the URX, hard to tell, but definitely a possibility, and it looks to be an LMT Stock, I thought I had your answers but the more I look at it I'm not so sure, my bad bro, but now I'm curious.

Infamous - thanks brother

under9 - they're taupe urx rail panels and a coyote lmt sopmod , the grip is a kac taupe a2.  the fug is rattle canned with aervoe field drab which is very close to kac taupe , maybe a shade or two darker.

here's a pic in better lighting to show the color better

You stole that exact look I'm going for, but mine is a clone of a KAC Upper, with KAC Components. I got the Taupe Rail Panels. I went with an ACOG the TA31-RCO-M150 to be exact, but it might get swapped out here soon with an ELCAN Specter OS4x 5755, which is pretty exact to the TA31-RCO-M150 reticle, but I prefer the ELCAN look and eye relief to the ACOG sitting on the upper now, was thinking about putting on an RMR, but not sure, because I might go ELCAN. Was going to go with a TAN DBAL A2-3 (forget) as opposed to a Black, haven't decided on a suppressor yet, but it is currently rocking a SF Warcomp, but I might switch it out to something from Dead Air, or AAC, to get a more affordable suppressor as opposed to SF. I used a Spike's Calico Jack Lower as it has a Franklin Armory BFS3, to make it appear to be a select fire Rifle, that is currently with Tan SBA3 brace, with a B5 Coyote Brown stock in waiting to be put on. Still filling it with KAC internal components like a Sandcutter, and E3 is in the works, with a few more, as well as KAC sights, and the Trigger Guard. I think I may have found a good deal on some sights, I know one member offered to sell me a front sight, which I wholeheartedly appreciate as it was a little too steep for me though, as I had found it brand new a little cheaper. I got the HK416 V2 Battle Grip on it, which is probably the best pistol grip I've ever rocked, also adds to the sexiness of the URX 3.1 Rail. Also got a MAGPUL BAD Lever on the Lower, and a Troy FDE Battle Grip for it that hopefully arrives soon, and I haven't decided on a light or not yet, I don't want to clutter up the handguard too much, but I'm thinking maybe of a cheap WML Light, don't know about SF, seems a little too steep for me, but still a possibility.

Like I said, though, you pretty much got the look I was going for, that's probably one of the sexiest 11.5's I've ever seen. Any reason to go with the LMT stock over B5?

I'll go out on a limb here - Scalarworks are simply the best mounts on the market. I do use some KAC micro mounts, just because it's KAC, but not a fan of the spacers.

I am a LaRue fan and I replaced my LaRue mounts with the Scalarworks versions. They are lighter, very strong and streamlined.

Scalarworks lower third is by far, my favorite Aimpoint T2 mount. I will probably try one of those KAC Redback 1 mounts someday but for now, Scalaworks is by far my favorite.

I agree, I run scalarworks on the micros and I really like them.

That being said, I've never dropped a rifle directly on one either.  I genuinely wonder how they'd fare from a shoulder height drop on something firm.

sounds like an awesome setup.  i had a franklin bfs trigger in my kac lower for a while , they're alot of fun

the lmt and b5 sopmod's are pretty much identical , i have the lmt's on a couple of rifles because i've had them since before the b5 stock's were available.  i do have one of the b5 stocks on my 870 , sopmod's are my favorite stocks and i run them on most of my guns.

I snagged a used mod 2 CQB for a great price. Don't have much time behind it 150 rounds but definitely notice a difference between the mod 1 CQB and the mod 2. The mod 2 seems to have much less rise, recoil, and seemed less gassy when using the M4-2K compared to the mod 1. Overall pretty impressed and definitely see a mod 2 14.5 in my future. On a side note I am thinking about swapping the rail for a URX2. The URX4 gets hot quick plus I am not a fan of the Key mod.

That's a great little product. A member here sent me a couple rubber caps that I use on my newer lights that haven't been blasted to hell yet, but these things are a great idea for whenever the caps wear out. I'll have to keep them in mind. Thanks for the tip, man. Also, some guys put a bit of oil/lube on their lens and it allows you to easily wipe the carbon off when you're done. The MAMS sure does a number to anything near it.
