If its a "capture" rifle. Either Yugo or other (Russian), and all the marking are removed. There really isn't anyway of getting more info.

Those were possibly reassembled using whatever they had. So a mis-match of parts.

I had a Yugo K98 that came acrossed my path. It was void of all markings except the serial number and the Yugo crest that was stamped on after cleaning the German markings.

This is the importer.  Century Arms International (CAI) in Vermont. That crest is Yugoslavian.

Your K98 has more info than mine. There's nothing left other than the serial and "43" as seen in the picture.

CE 43 equals a jp sauer and son (manufacturer) 1943.  I think they were the second largest producer of k98's that year but that part is off the top of my head.  Absent of markings on top of the receiver you can sometimes learn the make and year by the small dirty birds (waffamps) stamped elsewhere.

Yugo's we're often rebuilt as oppose to just reassembled like the Russian captures.  This makes them good shooters often with new barrels and actions correctly fitted to the stock as good examples are completely renumbered.
