Try and look for the AC unity and Magpul AUG mags cheaper than factory but works.

Not bad. Not good.

I regret only getting a few dozen from the manventure deal. $11 or less iirc.

I got a bunch when 44mag clearanced them back in 2015.  Should have bought more.

Purchased a bunch of the Magpul ones when Botach had them on sale, then more still of the AC Unity flavor when they came out.

94-04 was a bad time.

I cannot believe I didn’t buy a few hundred. I deliberately passed because I had more than enough mags. Same with $20 Swiss 55x mags.

I bought mine from 44mag back in the day.  Recall being $20 ish for either 30 or 42 round mags

At this point, for 30s the Magpul mags are the way to go. Add in some Steyr 42s for extra capacity.

Yup. This is the best deal right now. At least they have been great mags. The AC Unity are decent too but I actually like Magpul mags better than any other AUG mag.

I was a fool and didn't buy any a few years ago when a bunch of surplus OEM mags hit the market.

Are PMAGs for AUG reliable?

If I have it correctly the AUG P-Mag development was paid for by the ADF for their F88/F90 rifles. Nice that Magpul turned around to sell it to us too. With that said, it's my favorite AUG magazine and it doesn't pop out rounds when inserted in AUGs like OEM mags sometimes do. Just wish they made the mags in green or FDE/Sand.

I should have bought a crate of 42s when they were $10.

Now it's academic since I live in Washington and the gender non-binary monarch says no.

Is the ban "no more mags", or "pre 2022 is ok"?

I can flood WA with pre 2022 mags.....

Yes. In fact I think they are better than factory mags. They lock in with less play and they retain rounds better when fully loaded. They don’t look as cool though. ??

Yeah bzvk in the day at a vendor called Manventure I got a bunch of the 30’s for $6 and just a little more for the 42’s. Felt like a porn sight purchase with that name on the CC. Explain that to the little lady.

Oh yeah? I just got 14x30 rd mags and 4x42 rd mags for free. All new.

Found them still in packaging in my friend's basement. He gave them to me. So now on top of my already healthy supply of AUG mags, I have more.

44mag dot com was the best. Do you know why they went out of business by any chance?

Dack outdoors has the magpuls for $15, OEM 30s for $26 and 42s for $39.  Shipping takes about a month with them, but I have always gotten my orders.
