Does anybody know if a 45 degree offset M-LOK mount (like this one from Arisaka for example) for a surefire scout will fit on the Rattler handguard? I'd like to mount one on the 3 o'clock slot to put the light at 4:30, but IDK if there's enough room.

I'm thinking that the Rattler must be going gangbusters. I was looking at the used market today-nothing. A few MCXs, mostly 16" in .300blk, and I found a single Virtus rifle that the guy wanted to trade for a Virtus pistol.
I have a bad case of the wants. Question: Should I just get the upper kit, or the full Rattler? I have a SBR'd Legacy MCX, but I think that I'd like the pistol lower for interstate transport/legal protections. |

Quoted: If you got the Rattler upper, it will come with the M4 lower adapter, Rattler stock and Match Duo trigger. So, you could use the upper on your SBR MCX lower, but pick up a cheap AR lower to use as a pistol along with the included adapter. I just ordered a Rattler pistol today, I'm hoping to get the form 1 in the mail as soon as it's in my possession. Now to decide what I want to do for a can.

Do you have a part number for the complete Rattler kit? Sig CS seems to be a little clueless. |

After looking at the honey badger vs. rattler for a few weeks, then considering a custom 6.5-7.5 300blk build, I walked into my local shop and randomly bought a rattler with PSB yesterday. $1950 seemed like a deal. It’ll live next to my bed wearing a half Nelson in a few months.
Are there any game-changing upgrades out there? If anyone can get me up to speed on mag/ammo compatibility for these and any quirks it’d be appreciated. I’m not loving the trigger from a few minutes of dry firing The factory PSB brace is definitely coming off for a side folder. Anyone using a buffer tube adaptor with sba3 care to share how it shoulders? Trying to decide if I should wait for the new sb brace instead. |

@coregon
Or anyone else with an SBR. Whats the OAL with the factory Skelton stock? TIA. |

I get 23 5/8" from tip of the flash suppressor to the heel of the stock open.
16" folded. |

I'm going to need a handstop, though. I want to keep all my fingers. I'm debating about doing a fixed front sight like a DD or Scalarworks and run a X300U in front of it. The RMR is probably not permanent, the eyebox is too tight for me. I have a T-1, but it's on another rifle right now. |

I would recommend some type of handstop on the side rail, paired with some type of vertical grip. I have a RailScales Karve on the side and a BCM Vert grip, works perfect for me - the Karve keeps me from getting my hand on the muzzle and the grip gives me the control. I also want to avoid a vertical grip for when it's a pistol. |

Thanks, man. Happen to know who would have the best price on these? ETA: I'm seeing a few different versions on Gunbroker and various sites. At least one of them has a 1913 to buffer tube adapter instead of the Rattler stock. View Quote Seeing this as well - perhaps the vendors are changing parts out to sell the stock for more $$? |

Should the rattler be able to cycle the Hornady 190gr Sub-X unsuppressed (on the + setting)? (Mine wouldn't. Would eject but not pick up the next round.)
If not this round, what are the characteristics of subsonic loads that it might be able to cycle? |

Is there a reaction rod that will work on the Rattler? The short barrel provides little space for a barrel clamp.

I bought a Magpul M-LOK® Polymer Offset Light Mount for like $17 bucks to try out and it works perfectly on the Rattler FYI.

Hey other Rattler owners, do me a favor.
Look at your recoil spring retaining plate. Does yours have "223" marked on it like mine does? Are there even different recoil springs? Or just a coincidence? |

Interesting. I am using an RMR as an optic on mine as well right now. I am not a huge fan, the eye box is not very forgiving. Your mount looks low? Mine is an absolute cowitness on an AR-15.
The telestock gives you a very different feeling cheekweld because of how wide it is. I really noticed it yesterday. |
