They've been out of stock of damn near every SP5 accessory I want for awhile now. I trust them to get the goods, there aren't any other places I'm aware of at the moment that do the same
Edited the title. I had no idea hkparts were so crooked thanks for the info in this thread to caution others considering doing business there |

RTG parts stocks alot of HK MP5 and HK91 parts.

Unfortunately, factory HK rear diopters are out of stock almost everywhere. People have been scarfing them up to replace the castle rear sight on their new SP5s.

They have a long and well documented history of selling counterfeit "German" parts. Including just about every "German" diopter they sold for the past few years. HK Specialist, RTG Parts, Gatewood Supply are some vendors I've used and trust. You will also probably pay less. Also HKpro's marketplace frequently has some of the items you are looking for. |

Reputable and hkparts.net don't go together. They have been caught too many times hocking american made and pof parts as German. The amount of fake diopler sight complaints on hkpro and the facebook groups were nuts when the sp5 came out and its something they have been doing for years.

Depending on what you're looking for Numrich also has a few HK parts.
Y'all remember AA-OK for HK parts back in the late 90's. |

When confronted they admitted the "mistake" and to their credit did send me the correct part. Whether it was intentional or just a mistake/error I can't say, but I know I was not the only one to get a US part in place of the German one I ordered. My advice if you are buying "German" parts from HKParts you need to closely inspect what you receive to make sure it's legitimate. |

Oooo! I have a few extra diopter drums laying around. I could make a killing on the EE!
j/k |

+1 for Robert Johnson at RTG parts. I've purchased many 91 parts from him and have been nothing but pleased.

I ordered on Monday and received Wednesday. Gordon Miller (the owner) is very fast and a pleasure to work with.

GM occasionally posts some crazy good deals...$25 NIP factory HK USP .45 12rnd mags.

OP stating HK Parts and reputable in the same sentence made me laugh.

Bought some parts for my HK94 from Adam Weber when he first opened up. The spare parts were not the same metal and I thought nothing of it for a long time. Even had an argument over HKPRO over the finish of the spare parts and I assumed it was correct, but the gurus over there told me otherwise. Bought a lot of parts that I need to check over now. HK94A3 went adios to pay for a another gun. |

Beyond having my CC hacked more than once using HKparts(cant swear its them but damn it sure seemed that way before the site update) I have never had an issue with parts not being as described
Im probably the only dude on the planet who opted for a US made drum vs the German counterpart though |
|
I ordered some rollers from HKparts and was sent some oddball set that was too tall to fit into any bolts I own.
Repeated attempts to get an RMA were ignored. Buyer beware. |

One of my friends bought one for his zenith k gun that came with a castle sight and it wouldn't fit. I had a German one in my parts bin that went on without issue. I've had HK parts swap marked US parts for Todd Bailey's version as well(sears for 922r come to mind). I've seen people order rcm carriers and get bailey ones. |

Quoted: Quoted: Does anyone else even sell the German diopter drums? Sell? Yes. Have in stock? No One thing about my HKparts order experience I should share. They missed shipping an item from my order.(no big deal, shit happens) I emailed them and they responded same day, and shipped the missing item the next day. I got their package yesterday, and they included an extra HK 30rd straight mag to make up for their mistake. That was a pretty nice and IMO unnecessary gesture on their part, but I was definitely grateful. |

I have placed several orders over the years from HK Parts and personally I have not had any problems.

Quoted: I just ordered the non-German drum from HKparts. It's nice, no issues I can see that will make it a regretful purchase. I will probably end up replacing it down the road with the HK version as soon as things get back to "normal", but it will do for now. One thing about my HKparts order experience I should share. My most recent order was within the last 3 weeks, and even with the, "Covid shipping delays" it still arrived pretty quick. And all my parts were SP-5 related: 4-position C/P trigger housing, US made rear diopter drum, and a chamber face cleaning brush. All of the rest of my SP-5 goodies were from the EE of the other board mentioned above. I still have my red "HK" VHS video from RTDS, but I don't even have a VHS player anymore. |

I can’t find anyone else that has the paddle release kit for the SP5K so I’m going to chance another order.
I tried a couple months ago and the transaction kept getting declined, CC company drone said the retailer was ”flagged”. I’ll try a different cc and if it happens again I’ll get a pre paid. I placed a big order from them a couple years ago and got exactly what I was supposed to. |

Had no idea about hkparts, I used to buy G36 parts from them and all seemed fine. That was also before all of the legal trouble though

I emailed 4 or 5 places about how deep the threading goes on their 3 lug adapters. Hkparts was the first to respond and I recieved my order in a week. First time ever ordered from them but was pretty painless

I have ordered from HKparts in the past with no problems (other than price, especially shipping), but I won't be doing it again if I can help it. I had always heard they were kinda shady, but I didn't know how deep it went until the owner went to jail.
