[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is the M4 really worth 1/3rd more than the SLP or 1301?

Looking to buy a tactical autoloader this spring. I am seriously torn between the 1301, SLP, and M4. The M4 price though... what do you get over the other two?

If I was never issued the 1014 and trusted my life to it and spent many nights cuddled next to one I am sure I'd be satisfied with the Beretta.

My next shotgun will be the M4 because I'm sure I won't be satisfied otherwise.

I have had the M4 and the 1301 at the same time. I sold the M4 and kept the 1301. It just worked better for my needs. I also got a lot for my M4. You won't go wrong either one. Just get the newest release 1301 not an older one..has some good upgrades on it that should have come with from the beginning

My M4 has been dead nuts reliable and I would trust my life to it. Many nights I often do as it sits by the bedside.

I don't know if it's worth the xtra money, I do know it's been absolutely by far the best autoloading shotgun I've ever owned.

I had a 1301 riot, no issues with it.

The M4 handles better for me is all.
