CDNN seems to be selling the 522 cheaply...maybe at clearance prices.  The supply of cheap magazines also seems to have dried up.  Most of the stores that still have them are asking around $25 per mag, when they used to be easy to find at 2 for that, or less.

I also didn't see the 522 on the ATI website.  Is it discontinued?  Mags, too?  Or is this just due to batch importing...feast or famine?

I ask because I bought a 522-SD and it came with the "conversion kit" to put it back to a more MP5-like look, for $300.  They have the Lightweight for just $230.

I sure hope not! It doesn't look good, though. I've been trying to buy a replacement barrel for 2 years to no avail.

They've been discontinued for 2-3 years now.  I believe the mags are also used in another one of there rifles that looks a lot like the gsg5 that might be interchangeable. Not sure about the barrel.
