Anything with a Norell trigger pack is a winner by default. I want one, but not $15-$20k want one.

Meh, I can just stick this one in a silicone gun sock with a OEM 10-rounder, stick it under the back seat of my PU, when I pull it out, it's ready to go.....No assembly required.

Dude on the bullpup forum has a 10/22 SBR in a HTA P90 bullpup stock with an integral silencer that protrudes out of the stock about 1/4". It's sick.

I’m really digging that 11” integral! Looks like a handy setup.

This is a humble brag thread. Feel free to post up your own custom 10/22s!! It started life as a 10/22 Charger Takedown. Now after 2 tax stamps and some elbow grease and creative thinking, i present to you my take on the ultimate 10/22: http://i63.tinypic.com/nmj4vq.jpg http://i67.tinypic.com/jkbor4.jpg And tri-lug goodness: http://i65.tinypic.com/2zjg5s3.jpg View Quote @hitchhiker what mag is that, and how reliable is it? |
|
@Fugger
It is a Squires Bingham (or Ceiner) mag. They are stamped steel and hold 30 rounds. They were made in Italy years ago and are hard to find. You have to put an adapter block into the 10/22 magwell to use them, and it has been 100% reliable so far. It feels like changing mags in an MP5, adds a lot of cool factor. |

Sorry OP, I like mine better.
The 10/22s that are dressed up like ARs are ugly and played out in my opinion. Tapco-fucked, regardless of brands used Attached File Attached File |

It would take a fair bit more to fit it into the non-takedown stock. The only ISB Ruger has is for the takedown and you would have to fit a takedown fore-end and receiver into a non-take down stock. I have no return to zero or shifting POI issues, but I am using a 2 MOA red dot with no magnification. It could shift 2 inches at 50 yards and I would never notice.
I think YHM and Gemtech (among others) make integral barrels that are more like a traditional bull barrel profile that are intended to fit on a non-takedown receiver and stock. That might be a good option if you don't want the take-down. I added a KIDD buffer and charging handle, really smoothed it up and took a lot of the noise out of it when it cycles. It is a pretty slick grab and go setup, still fits in the Ruger bag with the dot on it. I can clap my hands louder than it shoots with CCI SV. You should get one, it's pretty awesome! |

Remember that "nailed it" meme where people would post pics of utterly failed attempts at recreating something they saw on pintrest or whatever? That thing looks like that with an MP5 as the subject.
