It's NOT mine, but I came across this ebay listing. Looks to be a NICE lathe with some good accessories.

That's a tidy example!  '55 have hardened ways?  I have it's bigger twin in 13" from the sixties.  It does have hardened ways.

I have a Heavy 10, too, but I chose to start with a rather more 'rustic' example.  



Thru the miracle of electrolysis and needle scalers, that mess including the chuck are shiny and pretty.  It's a good running lathe, and it turns out the chuck was brand new - then left, by our government, outside in the rain.
