I have a MEPRO 21 on it. Its decent. The issue is I shoot under a covered platform. I have the bulls eye retina . I don't like it. Shooting under the shelter  in the shade the bulls eye is there but not bright. I should have gotten a battery style. Even thought of a low magnification scope. But a Aimpoint pro would probably satisfy me also. Throw some ideas at me that I might be over looking. Thanks WarDawg

I have the same rifle and sight and shoot (most of the time ) under the same conditions - do yourself a huge favor and pick up a WOR.

Mepro RDS (no height mount  issues), Trijicon MRO, or Trijicon mini-ACOG.

It’s a turd. I bought a IDF SAR and wanted to like it, but it sucks, the reticle is dim, the optic huge. I sold it. I currently own an Eotech XPS2, Aimpoint TL, Hensoldt RSA, Mepro RDS, Trijicon MRO, etc, so I like variety, but all of them are leaps and bounds better than the M21.

What reticle do you have OP?

I have a Burris MTAC with the 5.56 AR horseshoe dot reticle now. I like it, you are welcome to come try it if you're ever my way. I'm 45 minutes south of Charlotte.

If you have the triangle, that's what I had on mine. I didn't get washout, and the M21 is my favorite open optic.

I have the circle dot ( bulls eye ) . Looks like the WOR would fix my small hang up. Thanks again for the replys. WarDawg

Trojicon TA44 1.5x with green or red circle dot, run them on a lot if our in house bullpups and it is a fantastic (if pricey) optic

I’ve been using a TA44 since early 2000.
Not familiar with green or red reticle since mine is amber, But the Acog will have the same issue when shooting from a covered position

I had the triangle on my 6.8 ARP Recon. I have a Holosun on my Tavor SAR right now but also use the Burris MTAC.

This reticle

I went from a MRO to a Primary Arms fixed 3X with the 5.56 reticle.  Never looked back.
