I've decided to look on the used market for an TL-15 or TL-30 in the DFW area. It's the best bang for my buck I believe.  I've spoken to about 10 safe/locksmith stores and no dice. Anyone know where to find a large collection In Texas ? Also I've tried craiglist and eBay.

As the economy gets shaky, there's a much higher demand for safes.  Combine that with all of the "covid" nonsense and inflation.  Supply chain issues, shipping costs, labor shortages, etc.

Some of this stuff is getting tough to come by, and when you can get it the cost is a bit higher than it has ever been.

Try to find a business/  businesses going out of business/ shutting down in your area.  All the Stein Mart stores went out of business back in late 2020 in the US.  Each store had a large safe.  Some were TL30 safes and some were very large document/ fire safes.  I was able to get two TL30 safes for $150 each (looked them up and they sell for $6500 each).  I paid a safe moving company another $350 per safe to pick them up and move them.  A good friend bought the last TL30 safe in my city and one document safe.  Two other friends bought TL30 safes in other TX cities.  Deals like this are very hard to find but they are out there.

Still on a few wait-lists. That would be the dream to find a place going out of business and get them that cheap. I have found a few used tl-30s but the price is close to new.
