If I’m shooting suppressed I try doing it after each range trip.  That’s mostly since I rarely get to shoot rifles these days so I don’t want it sitting around like that.

About 200 rounds after I should have. At least that’s how I feel as I clean up the mess. Shooting suppressed, fwiw.

Same as my other barrels, which is not very often.
It's based on the round count and how dirty it appears.

If suppressed, it'll get cleaned more frequently, but I may just clean & lube the BCG without thoroughly cleaning the barrel.
I usually pass a bore snake through the barrel a couple times on the range after I'm done firing, while the barrel is still warm.

I'll usually fire over 1,000 rounds between detailed barrel cleanings, unless it's a precision rifle without a chrome-lined bore.

Running suppressed I clean about every 350-400 rounds.
I don't run unsuppressed on my SBR's.
If running suppressed mobil 1 oil doesn't dry up and generally stays lubed for quite some time.

Rarely.  It's chrome lined.  I do keep the chamber clean though.

Mines nitride and my accuracy went to shit. I'm not sure if it's a dirty barrel or something else.

It's a 7.62x39 10.5, put about 250 through it since its last cleaning

It'll be more often once my can is out of nfa jail, but as of now the answer is "not often". I give the chamber/bbl extension a quick cleaning whenever I take the gun down.

Periodically. Just to swab out any carbon caused by the can.

My go to SBR is piston driven so the receiver and BCG don't get too carboned up.

As frequently as I clean my non-SBR barrels. Never.

After every range trip, whether its 10 rounds or 1000 rounds.

I've been known to let things get slightly dirty on occasion.

That's 3,200rds of suppressed on my 10.3" CQBR without cleaning. Usually, I'll clean anywhere between 1k up to above 3k as you see here... just depends. Mostly, between 1k and 2k.

This. Though the barrel is pretty minimal as I just pull a bore snake through. Other components get a wipe down and some lube. I don't mind cleaning as much as it allows me to do "gun stuff" without having to go to the range.

every time I shoot.

Even more necessary when shooting suppressed.

Every time I shoot, unless it's something crazy low like 10 rounds.

just a bore snake through it twice while at the range ... once before I insert the first mag, then again once done for the day but while barrel is still warm

Am I supposed to clean it?  I oil it until they don’t run anymore, then clean it.

Rarely.

Good or bad, forbthe most part, I clean each gun after I shoot it.  1 round or 1000+ rounds.

That being said, there are exceptions (precision rigs).

All my sbrs I shoot damn near if not always suppressed, so after 3-500 rounds they look horrible.

Suppressed runs a lot dirtier.  I keep wet over keeping clean

Depends if its a 300blk shooting subs or 556.

300Blk subs after every range trip (at least the bolt even after 2-3 mags)

556 every 600-800 rds.

All suppressed.

i just pull a bore snake through it after shooting maybe 1k rounds; i don't do any other barrel cleaning.
