I've got about two dozen different cleaning rods and they're always in the way:  I'd like to see what you've made or done to get them out of the way while preventing them from getting damaged.....I was thinking of capping some lengths of PVC Pipe to a simple "L" shaped Bracket and attaching it or maybe freestanding it in the corner, or ???
FWIW: The rods are one-piece as well as segmented, most are ~30" or so.

I bought a wall mounted holder for them. Think it was from Brownells.

Pegboard with hooks on the wall, and I keep them in the tubes they were originally packaged in

I have like 1 rod for my rifles and 1 rod for my pistols.

I used to keep them in the original package tubes and put them in the gun safe.

Unfortunately they were lost with all my guns in a tragic boating accident.

I use this Tipton wall mount. It works really well. I recommend it.

I cut holes in a 1 by and mounted it to the end of my work bench, if one is too long and touches the floor I cut a piece of pvc and mounted that on top of the 1 by to make the hole taller and labeled each end of the rods so I know which is which.

I went to my local woodworking supply shop and bought a 3 piece clamp rack kit for my woodworking clamps and had 1 left over. While looking at it I thought “damn, I know what I can use this for...” and I mounted it on the wall next to the reloading bench.

My work bench top (and the shelf under it) is made of 2 x 10's.  At the end of the bench and shelf I installed eye bolts.  The top eye bolt holds the rod, the lower eye bolt just keeps them plumb.

I just cut some 1/2 pvc pipe 36" and drilled a 7/8 hole in a piece of 3/4 plywood, did enough for 4 rods, and then inserted pvc into holes and gorilla glue to plywood and mounted plywood to work bench,  keeps rods and clean and away from damage.  Two rods are 36" and 2 are shorter for pistol.

Three piece brass rod is in the gun tool box.

The one piece coated rods I have (3 or 4) are in the gun case with the rifle I was using/carrying at the time I built the rifle/carbine and bought the cleaning rod.

The GI cleaning rods are in the butt stocks of the M1/M1A/AR15 I bought the for.

MTM cleaning rod case.  Only holds 4 cleaning rods, but that seems to be plenty for me.  Keeps the dust off them, keeps them from getting bent, etc.

I got 3 of them in the kitchen.
