I was looking at picking up another set of armor plates and have seen a big difference since April when I bought my last set.  I bought a set of Hesco 3611C from ESSTAC and was told then I was paying the increased price at the time.  The set I bought cost me $400 per plate.  Those same plates on ESSTAC are $539 each now.  Thats a pretty big change in three months.  Is this normal across all manufacturers?  Just want to know what I am looking at for another set and if this is that bad of a time to buy?

Hesco announced earlier this year prices would be going up. Couple of the vendors on here made mention of it.

There's been ceramic shortages and I know Tencate had to stop production a couple times cause of covid scares, so I wouldn't be surprised if Hesco had similar issues.

The demand was so high since covid started they would be fools not to raise prices.  If you want prices to drop then convince everyone that the panic buying is over and no longer needed.

Yup, Hesco has had to stop many times as well. Manufacturing is comprised of mostly the older population so they definitely have taken the necessary precautions.

Yeah? If you had to guess the ratio what would you answer?
