I am new to NVG, so I have a question I'd appreciate help with.

I recently acquired a PVS7 with the following mount:

I understand that shroud is for a single-hole helmet.  What I'm wondering is, if I were to purchase this helmet:
http://www.nightoptics.com/product/NOR-1861010-2.htm

Would I be able to remove the 1-hole shroud from the aka2, and then install the aka2 directly onto the universal shroud on that helmet?  Or are there more steps/things to buy/etc.

Okay and that 3 hole shroud would attach to a universal shroud on a helmet?

What’s confusing me is it says that shroud can attach to 3 hole helmets without straps, but then it says it’s for 1 hole helmets.

So I think I’d have to take that 1 hole shroud off, but a three hole shroud and attach it to the aka2, and then I could attach it to the helmet I linked to?
