Planning my next build and hit a snag. Does anyone know if there is a cap made that fits the battery cap of a maglite D cell?
NOT the bulb end, the battery end. Or know anyone who would make it for not a lot of money? would be threaded internal to fit the areas in red circles.  Attached FileEdit: found it! Litt Industries makes a bunch of cool maglite stuff. they have a glass breaker with cap. the cap is what i want. Tomorrow I'll call to see if they'll sell it seperately. linky |

Can't say I've ever seen such a thing commercially available.
You're talking about an endcap for your endcap basically - right? |

So he is not looking for a traditional end cap that threads into the tube but for something I have never seen or heard about |
