There was photo in a thread of some knives
that had a simple drop point blade. They had
2" or 3" blade lengths and were mentioned
for people who lived where there are blade
length restrictions. I looked them up for
pricing & availability, and I think I found
them for $107.95 somewhere on the net.

I liked what I saw, but my son shut down
my laptop before I could really look at them
and I can't find the thread. I thought it was
here, but could have been in GD, also.

Thanks!

Was it fixed blade or folder?

Not sure if I can help much, but good luck with your search.

Browser history does not go back very far.

I have seen that long thread, but I haven't
looked in it for sometime, so what I saw was
not there.

They were folders. Stumpy blade, Simple
drop point curve, but pretty beefy knives.

And I think someone posted them in a thread
that Rock 6 was posting in.

It's hell getting old!

I remember the name of the mfg was posted
because that's how I found them.

Thanks for the replies. I'll keep looking.

I found it!

Protech Calmigo.

They are smaller than I thought, but
I really like the look & blade shape.

Thanks again for the help!

Calmigo

Glad I kept reading that's a cool little knife.

I'm not really an auto or assisted kind of guy but I kinda like that. It's like the launch 4

Yea. I like it too.

I like a knife with smooth lines,
so it's easy to get your hand by
it in your pocket.

I'll have to get one sooner or
later.

That is cool, and very small and light. A gentlemans auto lol.

I have a few Protech autos and must say they are simply excellent as far as fit and finish.  Better than Benchmade and easily on par with MT (at half or more of the price).  You won't be disappointed at all...
