No, but I bought a sheet of the material from the company that produces it and made my own.  Wrapped a holster while I was at it

Not perfect but does the job

Just did my MOD-3B and COTI this morning and super impressed with the design of the cutouts - they wrap perfectly around all the profiles on the units. Stickers feel like they're solid quality and I'm definitely a happy customer. PVS-30 is next.

Didn't know these were a thing.

This thread convinced me to try 'em out.

Ordered a M81 set for my '14.

Just 'wrap'ped up with the pvs-30. Left on the tan paint I had done it with a while back, so you can see how the M81 compares on top of tan versus on black with the goggles.

I'm a rattle can guy myself personally, but these are pretty slick if you're a little leery of breaking out the spray paint for your NVGs.

TNVC is a master distributor for them, and we have them available now!

The guy that makes them (Alex) sold me mine directly. He said there weren't any distributors that wanted to carry the MOD-3 skins, so maybe just keep an eye on his website or reach out directly. There's two versions of the bridge and a third older one that AB offers upgrades from (in addition to the manual vs auto-gain pods), so it's a little bit of a messier system than the others.

In 500 words or less, tell me why ThisWildAdventure “needs” NOD. Show your work.

A. Mine are not camo-ed because I’m too cheap to buy and too scared to paint.
B. What the fuck does “need” have to do with it?

Because I thought it looked cool. Look, it’s fine if y’all grab these because they’re cool. But c’mon with the “they hide my vis sig” nonsense.

$25 is a small price to pay to not have to tag up a $10,000 goggle. These greatly help to preserve resale value. You can also swap out camo patterns on the fly if you want.

+1

ANVIS-6 with the "uparmor" on the bridge. Had to use a scalpel and dental pick to get it around the additional structure on the bridge, but it worked out fine and dandy. Just need patience... the Nocorium wraps are extremely forgiving and you can easily unpeel them with no degradation of the adhesive if you need to adjust placement.

How easy to take off and reapply are they?

If I remove them will it be difficult to remove the glue or whatever that keeps them on the NV unit?

I take it that the cloth has lower IR reflection and lower thermal heat retention than the plain plastic housing, correct?

I’ve had to completely remove them to collimate a set of binos. If you’re careful you can just put them back on how you did the first time. They stretch a little bit but they’re not difficult to remove and put back on. I just cleaned the eyepiece rings and re-applied them. I haven’t noticed any adverse effects of doing this. This was on a DTNVG.

I’m not sure if Nocorium still cuts the cloth wrap. AFAIK he is mostly vinyl. But the adhesive used doesn’t leave any type of residue that I know of (so far). I think he claims it will remain that way too, but time will tell. I believe him though.

Thanks; I need a RNVG housing my life soon. When you say combine, I assume you mean you’ll use the wrap for the RNVG housing? Do the RNVG Nocorium’s not come with a wrap for ANVIS optics?

Need to let the finances cool off for a bit, but RNVG will come to me in due time ????.

Well, I wrapped my 14s and was very happy how the Nocorium wraps turned out.

I was so happy with them I decided I wanted to wrap some other gear they don’t offer wraps for. So I ordered some vinyl wrap from Amazon and started cutting and wrapping. My handwork certainly isn’t up to Nocorium’s standard but I’m happy with how the DBAL came out.

I’m anxious to see how the Amazon wrap holds up, but if it doesn’t all I’m out is a few bucks and some time.  I’m going to wrap an Aimpoint M4s next and then try the REAP-IR.
