I have used cables but nothing with an alarm built in. This company has some with various length cables https://lockalarm.com

I just made cable loops with vinyl coated cable from HD. then ran a kayak python lock thru them. for my first show this weekend. It worked well but was a pain to pull a gun when sold. Ordered the battery operated one you have a link to. It should be here this week will let you know how it works.

I made a very simple alarm with a buzzer,9 vdc battery and a DC relay....used quick disconnects (i.e. spade terminals) at several points along the wire that went through the trigger guards....
