i built a gun room a few years back and would like some better storage options that what i currently have. i don't think i want to go with a new safe though, and was instead considering a "gun locker" or "gun cage" like you might see in a PD or armory - something beefy and lockable, but made of perforated steel.

i have found a few companies that make them, but little pricing, and few or no reviews...

anyone have experience with a similar set-up?

I don't personally own one, but when I was looking for something similar I was leaning towards SecureIt cabinets.

I just did a video on the secureit cabinets.  They aren't cheap, but they are nice and well made.  The cradle grid system is actually really awesome.

I picked up a 52 on sale last year.  Really like it. May pick up another one.
